AntColony is a Mac app that runs a team of AI agents, called ants, for you. You give the Queen a task. She reads the colony's memory, staffs the job with ants that fit, runs them in parallel, and merges their work into one answer while you watch it live.
AntColony is a desktop app for macOS. Builds are made for Apple silicon (arm64) and Intel (x64) Macs; the Apple silicon build is the one that has been tested.
No key is needed to try it: demo mode runs a simulated colony, and the first ant does a short real browse so you can watch. Real runs use your own Anthropic key, which the app keeps encrypted with the macOS Keychain.
Yes. The app contains a real Chromium browser. Ants open pages, read them, click, type and scroll in their own tabs, all sharing one logged-in session, and you see each ant's browser live in the side panel.
Ants only visit sites the colony is allowed to open, and they ask you first before reaching a new one. Risky clicks such as send, pay, delete, post and submit wait for your yes. Ants can never type into password fields, and you can take the wheel of any browser at any time.
Yes. Point the colony at a code folder and its engineering team runs Claude Code in a safe copy on its own branch. Every build goes brief, spec, build, checks and review, and nothing lands until you press Merge.
Try the demo colony without a key, then add your own when you're ready.
